We have developed a good deal of training around the model and associated issues. Here’s an example.

The TRM training itself, is suited to anyone working with children and troubled young people.

Amongst these would be those in the following settings:

  • Social work
  • Foster or kinship care
  • Youth justice
  • PRU or other education settings
  • Residential care
  • Secure children’s homes (SCHs)
  • Secure Training Centres (STCs)
  • Young Offender Institutions (YOIs)
  • CAMHS or forensic services
  • Probation
  • Leaving care
  • Supported housing

The training we have done to date has been put together for specific settings, as this is the best way for us to tailor the model to the particular needs of young people and staff.

You can download an example one day course outline here.

Please get in touch for a no obligation discussion of your needs – just click here.

Among the broad areas we can address in training are:

    • Sorry Jo, I completely missed this! Apologies for the ridiculously late reply…

We tend to run courses for local authorities and other agencies where they want teams of people trained in the Model. However, we are looking at whether or not there would be demand for us to put on a couple of open access courses each year, so that folk who want to buy just one or a couple of places could also get access. Is that the kind of thing you’d be interested in?

Thanks for getting in touch – I’ll try and be a little more responsive next time! :0)

      Cheers, Jonny.
